Our guest speakers this month are Jenny and Ginette from Associates in Pediatric Therapy. They are both OT's and they are going to talk to us about Snoezelen Environments and how we can incorporate them into our
homes. A Snoezelen Multi-Sensory Environment is designed to offer individuals with special needs and challenges the opportunity to exercise choice through action. A Snoezelen MSE is a blend of sights, sounds, textures, aromas, and motion to provide stimulation of the primary sensory systems and can be modified to meet each participant's sensory needs. A Snoezelen MSE can be made from a corner of a room or other dedicated space, to a room or rooms, whatever your space requirements. Please come and learn how you can put this together in your own home!
